How to pledge
Set up your wallet once before the event, then back a crowdfund in seconds on the day.
Before the event
Do this once
- Get a supported wallet and connect it at app.bitstarter.ai/connect-wallet.
- Make sure you have TAO in that wallet ready for your pledge, plus a small amount for transaction fees.
On desktop
Most reliable
- 1Install a Polkadot wallet extension in Chrome, Brave, Firefox or Edge: SubWallet, Talisman or polkadot.js.
- 2Go to app.bitstarter.ai/connect-wallet.
- 3Click Connect Wallet and select your wallet in the popup.
- 4On the day, go to app.bitstarter.ai, select the crowdfund, choose your amount and pledge.
On mobile
Wallet browser only
- 1Install Nova Wallet or SubWallet in advance.
- 2Open app.bitstarter.ai/connect-wallet inside your wallet's built-in browser, not Safari or Chrome.
- 3In Nova or SubWallet, open the Browser tab, paste the link, then connect your wallet.
- 4On the day, open app.bitstarter.ai the same way, choose your amount and pledge.
Stay safe
- Only use app.bitstarter.ai and check the URL before connecting.
- We will never DM you first, and we will never ask for your recovery phrase or private keys.
- Ignore unsolicited DMs offering help with pledging.
